We’re back again for 2027!
Starting and finishing in Somerset, this scenic sportive takes riders across the stunning Somerset Levels, with routes designed to showcase some of the area’s finest roads and landscapes.
With a choice of three fully signed and supported routes, the event offers a relaxed and enjoyable day in the saddle, perfect for building early-season miles while taking in the scenery along the way.
The routes feature a rewarding mix of flat roads, gentle rolling terrain and picturesque countryside, making this an event suited to riders of all abilities. Climbing has been kept to a minimum wherever possible, creating a sportive focused more on enjoyment than outright difficulty.
No Somerset ride would be complete without the iconic Cheddar Gorge climb, which features on both the long and medium routes and provides a memorable highlight towards the end of the ride.
Riders can choose from:
🚴 Long Route – 161 km (101 miles)
🚴 Medium Route – 101 km (63 miles)
🚴 Short Route – 45 km (28 miles)
Whether you are riding for the scenery, the atmosphere or simply the joy of being on the bike, this is a sportive designed to be enjoyed.
No matter your ability, this is a friendly and welcoming sportive.
THIS EVENT IS FULLY SUPPORTED WITH MARKED ROUTES, INCLUDING MECHANICAL AND MEDICAL SUPPORT.
