CHILDREN, YOUNG PERSONS AND VULNERABLE ADULTS POLICY

OUR STATEMENT

We acknowledge that some children, including disabled children or those from ethnic minority communities and vulnerable adults can be particularly vulnerable to abuse or harm, therefore:-

UK VELO insist that ALL children/young persons /vulnerable adults are accompanied by their parent, carer, or responsible adult at all times whilst attending our events, At NO TIME are children/young person/s or vulnerable adults the responsibility of UK VELO.

The policy recognises that the welfare and interests of children/young person/s or vulnerable adults are paramount in all circumstances and the responsibility of their safety at our events will be the sole responsibility of the parent/ care giver or responsible adult.
VOLUNTEERING

FANCY HELPING AT AN EVENT ?

ALL DAY OR REGISTRATION HELPERS

We always welcome volunteers at our events so if you fancy joining the team for the day you can choose to be paid or have a few events for free.

If you can spare a few hours at registration or with parking, You will be rewarded for your efforts and will be able to choose an event to enter for free, thats any event and any distance OR you can ride the same day also for free.
