The event will take in much of the stunning New Forest on the cycle routes and will include a choice of three rides.

This event starting and finishing at Gang Warily recreation center will be a circular route around this incredible cycling environment. Not an overly tough ride with little climbing, this sportive is more aimed at a relaxed day in the saddle.

We are trying to help you enjoy cycling at its very finest, and what better place to do it, in what is the stunning New Forest, The three route choices are a Long route of 163 km (100 Miles), a Medium of 116 km or (67 Miles) and a short of 67km (41 miles)

At all times riders are expected to follow the New Forest cycling charter.

    Registration will be from 0730 – 0845

    You can start from 0730 - 0900

    The START will close at 0900 you will not be able to start after this time.

    If you require a printed map, you need to download and print your own, there are no printed maps available at the event.

    Although the routes are comprehensively marked with route arrows on occasion people move these signs, we suggest downloading the route to a phone or navigation device just in case you need route assistance on the day.

    For the safety of riders and the sanity of event staff we must use cut offs, if you start your ride at the appropriate time and can ride at approx. 12 mph you will make the course split point.

    On this event the cut off is at 1200, you must be at the 79 km point by then to continue the Long route, If not, you will be directed to the medium course, this affects the Long route only.

    RIDERS ON ALL ROUTES MUST RETURN TO THE EVENT VENUE BY 1630

    We try to have a varied mixed at the feed stations, these will include: -

    • Energy drink (vg)
    • Water (vg)
    • Flap jack
    • Cake
    • Bananas
    • Crisps (v)
    • Jellybeans or Jelly babies
    • Tea and Coffee

    Plus a few other things that we source as they become available, not everything on the above list will be available at every feed.

    Please note we do not supply gels and we cannot guarantee the products do not contain nuts, gluten, or wheat, if you have specific food tolerances you will need to carry your own supplies.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION

There is a Train station (Beaulieu Road) close to the start serviced from London and across the South.

There is plenty of accomodation locally, including a Premier inn at Southampton and Holiday Inn (12 Miles).
